And suddenly behind us a seemingly bloodied, Franconian Klaus Kinski came running and convinced us of real home cooking, nowhere can you eat so well, everyone else doesn't cook themselves, we have to try it. Klaus Kinski brought us the menu and first told us that it is good that we eat at lunchtime, because fat people like us shouldn't eat in the evening anymore. Then there were 4 dishes on this menu, schnitzel, hunter's schnitzel, gypsy schnitzel and some other schnitzel. So we thought our part, but we were really scared and so we took the hunter schnitzel. It was inedible and we didn't dare let anything go back. So we ate up, listened to exciting anecdotes from the host about how the world really works and how stupid everyone is, except for him, of course, and of course, that his food is the best far and wide, because he is a butcher himself. All in all, we felt like we were in a bad horror movie, just waiting for the catastrophe. When we were allowed to pay, and the prices are based on Munich conditions, I even gave a tip out of fear. In a nutshell: the landlord should continue to slaughter, but not cook. Cobbler, stick to your last. And if he absolutely wants to continue to operate the black eagle, he should at least put a warning sign outside.

If you just want to stay and not hungry, it's ok. My food was not too bad, the breakfast was adequate and for the first time on my tour I had the right soft breakfast eggs! Then we realized that within 40 km we would not get any better food (40 years of cooking experience, 35 years butcher and everything homemade). The result: My wine spritzer had overturned, the pig's pepper (family recipe for 100 years) turned out to be a slice of pork belly with a disgusting, undefined sauce and also the hock was inedible.
